Sahun
Sahun is a 'Section Capital' meaning that the village is a traditional seat of power within the Chiefdom (the one it finds itself in is named Barrie Chiefdom). It's rather a large community and boasts a general store where you can fill up on supplies.
Another perspective
This village is the furthest away from Tiwai and if it is on the itinerary you will have the opportunity to travel back to Kambama, the start point of the trail, by taxi motorbike. An exciting mode of transport that will allow you to see the awe-inspiring countryside from another perspective.
Interesting cultural heritage
Sahun also has some very interesting cultural heritage sites. Whilst there, it might be worth asking for more information... the young village chief, Momoh Kamara, will surely help you out.
